People these days..

Today I feel like ranting.. Instead of ranting 24/7 to my boyfriend you guys can hear me out this time. Only because I love you guys that much.

So when i'm out, i like to observe things and now when i look around, all i see are stupid IGNORANT little people that think they own the streets. Now, i'm not saying everyone's like that. It's just a generalisation. This is directed more towards a group of people that irritate me.

Sometimes I just think to myself, what the fuck has the world come to. Suddenly smoking weed, drinking alch and sleeping around has become to cool thing to do. No, just no. Especially little girls these days. Like girl, do you even wear a bra? Do you even know what a vagina is?? That's motherfucking disgusting. Get the fuck away from me. Nobody wants your STD's. THAT is what pops into my head straight away when I think of them. Now people will be like 'OMG, you can't just judge people like that! You don't even know them!' Well guess what, YES I CAN. Everyone judges. It's a natural thing to do and GOOD because I don't want to know them or have any association with them. Now bitches be like 'They've probably made a mistake. Everyone makes mistakes'. This, my friend, is true. Everyone makes mistakes however, to continue doing it and repeating it is NOT a mistake anymore. It's a choice.

Speaking of judging, who the fuck are those people to judge anyone? But they do, everyday, every minute. Putting someone down and making them look bad to other people. DO YOU OWN A FUCKING MIRROR? You have brought shame to your family dear and just because you live a sad fucked up life. Don't go try fucking up another person's life. That is the most saddest thing to do. Sadder then eating alone in a restaurant. Like really? Don't you have anything else to do? Probably not. lol. why'd i even ask. Do you wake up in the morning and be like, HMMM, who should I talk shit about today? Talk shit, get hit bitch. Not hit HIT like physical hit, I mean karma hit. Karma is gonna hit you so hard, more than anyone else would.

So, what are you going to be like when you're older, when you've finally snapped outta this thuglife phase of yours? Think back and be like 'OMG how cool was I!!' HAHAHHAHA this makes me laugh. Mate, WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH YOUR LIFE?
So what? YOLO you say? SHUTUP ALRIGHT, I'm sick of this yolo shit. No, YOLO is not doing stupid shit. YOLO is you only live once MEANING you only have one life. Why the fuck would you damage your body and waste your life like that. stupid shit.

You're a fucking waste of oxygen. smh.

Apologies for use of coarse language.

Review: Too Faced Summer Eyes Palette

First of all, lets take a moment to admire the adorable packaging this palette has.

Now let's begin.

Okay, i admit, i bought this simply because of the packaging. It is a little smaller + a little thinner than the traditional cardboard Too Faced palettes and comes with a mirror which is a win. Instead of cardboard it's made out of metal. Although it looks good, the packaging of this is so so SO flimsy it makes me sad. It seriously felt like I was going to snap the lid off when I opened it, and I didn't even do it hard. However, it comes with a magnetic closure which is good. When closed, I wiggled the lid around and it MOVES. I would be more forgiving if it only moved a little bit since all 'squarish' palettes do, but it didn't. It crossed the line. Being the weakling that I am, I did not put any force into wiggling it and I could seriously snap it off while it was closed. REALLY?!? Too Faced, I am disappointed.

The palette comes with 9 shadows and is a big nono for people who aren't into shimmer. But I am, so allgood. The only matte shade is Seashell. Toasted Coconut is close to matte but there is still some glitter and a slight sheen if you look closely. Initially, I was super wowed out and excited for Peach Fuzz and Sunbeam because it looks so sparkly and pretty in the pan, but when swatched, there really isn't much going on. Sparkly? Yes. Pigmented? No. Apply some base under the shadows before using them. And then I realised...

THERE IS NO FRIGGEN INNER HIGHLIGHT COLOUR!!!!!!!!!

THAT bothers me. It means.. One, this is not a travel friendly palette and will not be coming with me on my adventures. Two, I'll always have to reach for a separate eyeshadow when I use this, and i'm lazy so yes this is a problem to me. They could've taken out Peach Fuzz and replaced it with a nice inner highlight shade and this would be the perfect Summer palette, sigh... who needs two glitters that don't do very much. My love for inner highlight just cannot be expressed in words and a palette without it, is not a complete palette. Go back into manufacturing stage please.

This seem like a negative review but I actually have no idea why because I actually like it.

I got this palette because I wanted to experiment with colour instead of wearing neutral all the time. I picked it up at Mecca for $53.95 if anyone's wondering where I got it from. The colours looked fun and the palette is a mixture of neutrals, pastels and a bright colour (Mermaid), it's pretty to look at hence why I liked it before I even used it. They all compliment each other which is a good thing because many looks can be created. A simple everyday look, a sexy night out look and everything in between. The palette does come with a 'Glamour Guide' that shows 3 different looks you can do but they all failed to please me. The palette is divided into 3 'sets', Day, Classic and Fashion. Each row is designed to be co-ordinated to create different looks, as shown in the guide. But i would rather mix and match them. The colours of the eyeshadows on the guide is also way off when compared to how they look in real life when swatched. The consistency and blend-a-bility of them are also very good. I likey. The 6 smaller shades have better pigmentation than the 3 lighter/larger shades, but thats probably because they were designed to be an all over lid colour. Just remember to wear some primer before using this especially if you're going to be wearing this in the Summer time. The shadows are buildable though so it is easy to achieve a certain look.

Swatched once, from L > R: Seashell, Plumeria, Cocoa Beach, Peach Fuzz, Coral Crush, Chocolate Sun, Sunbeam, Mermaid, Toasted Coconut

Seashell - A peachey shade that is the only matte in the palette. It is not bright enough for me to use as a highlight colour

Plumeria - A pink shade that has a slight sheen and a little bit of shimmer.

Cocoa Beach - A cool toned taupe colour. It contains beige shimmers and is one of the more shimmery shadows in the palette.

Peach Fuzz - A peachy pearl toned shade, no colour payoff but very pretty to wear. It looks so nice as a shimmer add on.  but careful not to apply too much unless you want to look like a disco ball at the end of the day.

Coral Crush - A very cute pastel orangey coral colour.

Chocolate Sun - The darkest brown in the palette. This is probably my least favourite from the palette because i have trouble blending this and it looks muddy if too much is applied.

Sunbeam - Very similar to Peach Fuzz, however, this is a more golden toned glitter.

Mermaid - A beautiful deep emerald shade that is super vibrant. It's not true to colour because it goes on darker than what it looks like. It almost looks grey if you look at it on from far away.

Toasted Coconut - A medium golden brown. My favourite brown out of the 3.

The brighter colours (Seashell, Plumeria, Coral Crush) have a subtle but elegant effect when worn. I like this since its not too overwhelming and doesn't make you look like a clown in case you mess up.

This palette is definitely not a MUST HAVE for people who don't own a lot of other palettes since its not that great as a solo palette. But if you're a makeup hoarder, go ahead. Purchase it. It would be a nice addition to a collection :)

Anniversary Date

Yes, we hit 25 months yesterday, it seems like such a long time but trust me.. its actually not. I seriously don't know where time flew to.

We went to Nandos for lunch first and then Ikea to get some stuff and continue to eat some more. This was my first time eating at Ikea and it was actually pretty good. I really wanted to try the meatballs there but I heard they had horse meat in them and I can't picture myself eating horse :( so I got them sweet potato fries instead with almond cake, STAY AWAAAY from the raspberry jelly, normally red jelly is like the shiz but this one was so crap, It was like eating tap water with some fake flavouring. So lucky my bubbah got orange flavour so I can steal some of his. <3

We then proceeded to watch 'The Heat' at Palace cinemas which is like a dead man's cinema because no one has heard of it since everyone goes to Hoyts or Village, but had a coupon so why not?? Also, since the movie was released 2 days ago, I refuse to go watch it at a popular cinema since they're always so packed and I would rather have no one sitting next to me. The movie was really funny, watch it if you wanna laugh.

After that, we had dinner at TGI Friday, the food is like awesomeness on a plate. It's so nice. The servings there are so massive as well, especially the burgers. Guaranteed satisfaction. The images do not even show how good the food is. Also, the atmosphere is really nice. I hate the bathroom there though, the most embarrassing thing happened to me, i thought I locked myself in because i couldn't open the door to get out even though I pushed it and pulled it so hard. After 5 minutes of doing that it was literally about to break down, I then realised it was a sliding door.... -sigh- some girl outside looked at me weirdly. Don't judge me :( After dinner, we went to the arcade opposite the restaurant to play some games, gotta burn off the calories ya know.

That was about it, even though it was nothing special, just a casual date but it was still very special to me and super fun!

Review: Revlon Colorstay Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains + Swatches!

I've owned these for a while and absolutely LOVE them. I picked them up at Target for $18.95 which is pretty bargain considering the crazy prices Australia have when it comes to makeup. They're suppose to be similar to the Clinique Chubby Sticks which i haven't tried cause they are like twice the price, yeah.... i'm a cheapo, and since they're so awesome, i think i'll survive without the Chubby Sticks. Available in 12 shades, they're suppose to be a lip balm + stain, which is a genius idea. When applied, they glide on oh so smoothly and are so soft on the lips which is a plus in my books since i have rather dry lips and cant stand chapped lips + lipstick on top. Normally, long lasting lip products are often drying but however, this doesn't dry out my lips at all.

It has a sort of minty scent to it, when you apply it, your lips have this cooling sensation which makes them feel fresh and preeeetty good, not too matte, not too glossy. Furthermore, it offers great control as to where you would like the colour to be since it is shaped like a crayon with a pointed tip, i find it pretty useful when you'd like to achieve the ombre lip look.  And for the lazy peeps out there (ahem, me) it's like a retractable crayon which makes it so convenient and handy, great for travelling because c'mon, who can be bothered finding a sharpener to sharpen them when they go blunt, ain't nobody got time for dat. In terms of pigmentation, they're okay, aren't as pigmented as a lipstick but still pretty good since it's a lip balm, great for an everyday natural look and so summer appropriate,so if you have ultra pigmented lips like me, i suggest picking up the darker tones.

Have I mentioned that these last literally FOREVERR!?! I swatched them on my arm one night, woke up, did some morning routine, had a shower, and they were still in where i swatched them. Pretty sweet if you ask me. I've noticed that the darker shades last longer than the lighter ones.

Please excuse my hairy arms. It offers extra insulation in the cold weather. The shades i own in order are

045 Romantic - An everyday sheer red that's not a BAM in your face red that instantly brightens up your face. It has successfully made it into my favourite reds to wear since it suits my yellow undertones pretty nicely.

020 Lovesick - A gorgeous fuchsia shade that is buildable so you can get it as sheer or pigmented as you like. Also, one of the more pigmented shade in the collection.

025 Sweetheart - Bright pink! Nicely pigmented. Definitely a head turner and I received compliments while wearing this which is always a good sign. Colour does fade to a warm pink when worn for a while though which ain't that bad, because it's a happy healthy looking pink. I use this over a nude lipstick for an ombre effect

015 Cherish - A barbie looking blue toned pink that could be to much for some people since its super bright. It doesn't stain as much as the others but meh, can live with that. It will work really well for people with pale lips.

001 Honey - A very lovely mauve colour, almost like a dark nude. The basic everyday colour. I've noticed that it changes colour throughout the day but not too a super noticeable extent. I don't really like wearing this when i have dried lips since it seems to accentuate them.

010 Darling - A gorgeous lavender blue toned pink which is pretty unusual in the drugstore end of the market. Not as pigmented as the rest but still works. This seems weird but the colour varies in different lighting and also goes darker throughout the day.

035 Charm - Nude peachy colour. Not very pigmented and doesn't really show up on my lips, doesn't stain them either. Nothing special about this. I used this while having dry lips and it made me look like a had a horrible skin disease. My least favourite from the lot. Do not recommend this shade over the others.

How adorable are the names right? Especially Sweetheart HAHA... just joking, but they are cute! so lovey dovey! My favourite from the bunch are Lovesick, Honey and Sweetheart. I totally recommend checking them out if you haven't already!

Thanks for reading, i hope this was useful and enjoyable.
