Review: Etude House Correct & Care CC Cream

So first it was the BB cream, now its the CC cream.. i swear next will be the DD cream... VAT IS DIS. I simply cannot keep up &^#&*#(@&yuGUW&*$. T_T

I shall be reviewing this in #2 Glow. Normally i don't even try many BB or CC creams since they come in like 1 or 2 shades and they're too light for me most of the time, HOWEVERRRR, this comes out white and 'adjusts' to your skin tone, AMAZING :D. Also because damn Koreans have such nice glowing skin using these stuff I wanted it too. HAR HAR. It's also good cos it comes with a pump so it's more convenient.

Background on my skin:
  • Epic oily in the T-zone and dry on cheeks, chin etc.
  • Have acne prone skin especially when it's that time of the month. No amount of skincare can prevent dem breakouts :(
  • Have uneven skin tone and redness across the cheeks
  • Shit loads of pores.
Anyways, this CC cream is suppose to provide things like whitening, SPF, act as a primer and offer coverage. It's suppose to be more lightweight than BB cream and give a more 'skin-like' look. Which it certainly does.

It also claims to have as much as 8 benefits. YES, E.I.G.H.T.
  • Anti-aging
  • Stress relief (bullshit!)
  • Hydrating
  • Whitening
  • Sun Protection
  • Tone-up
  • Smooth texture
  • Luminosity

Here are my thoughts on this, on skin IT LOOKS SO EFFING NICE. Literally looks like dat KOREAN SKIN, that nice natural no makeup glow-y dewy face. It's sooo natural and leaves that healthy looking radiant glow. It lasts like forever too, around 7 hours for me, i set it with powder and use a primer under it. However when it comes to controlling oil its straight up shit. My face is like a frying pan after 2 hours.

First when you apply it, it's smooth and all but feels so sticky and must be set with a powder, it feels sunscreen like. If I don't set it, it feels like it's gonna run everywhere and drip down my face. Also, don't even think about using a brush for this, it'll end up absorbing too much onto the brush, and leave you with literally no coverage. After a while of wearing it, you just forget you have anything on. It's so lightweight and feels so hydrating. But careful not to touch your face too much. I'm a face toucher and this does rub off if i touch too much. When dispensed, its like a white fluid, pretty watery and adjusts to your skin as you blend it in, pretty cool right?

It doesn't offer much coverage if that's what you're looking for. It covers slight redness but allgood. That's why concealer was invented rights? Would not recommend this product to people with problematic skin since it's a low coverage product (lower coverage than BB cream even).

For me, I haven't noticed any skincare benefits, but I wasn't expecting any anyways. This is the first CC cream I tried and it makes me just wanna get more. MY MONEH T_T

If you haven't tried this yet i totally recommend you should darls.
